The Effect of Giving Group Resume Assignments in Improving Student Learning Activities at SMP N 1 Jujuhan

This study aims to determine the effect of group resume assignments on improving the learning activities of eighth-grade students at SMP N 1 Jujuhan. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was implemented in two cycles. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities from 62% in cycle I to 87% in cycle II. Students became more active in discussing, expressing opinions, and compiling resumes collaboratively. Learning became more lively and interactive. Group resume assignments were proven to be able to increase student engagement, communication, and responsibility in learning. Therefore, this strategy is recommended as an alternative active learning approach to improve student learning activities comprehensively and sustainably
