Development of Pick Me Up Learning Media with My Vehicle Theme to Support Independent Learning for Early Childhood

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media "Pick Me Up" with the theme "My Vehicle" to support the concept of Freedom to Learn at Pandu Ilmi Persada Sari Mulya Kindergarten. The development method used is the Plomp model which includes three stages: preliminary research, development/prototyping, and assessment. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students in group B. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, activity observations, and teacher and child response questionnaires. The validation results showed that this media is very suitable for use, with a validity percentage of 92% from media experts and 90% from material experts. This media increases children's learning activities, participation, and independence. This study emphasizes the importance of contextual and interactive media in supporting the implementation of Freedom to Learn in early childhood education programs.
